During her free time, a medieval princess could indulge in activities such as needlework or book reading.

During the early medieval ages, a long tunic was used that reached the heels and was fastened at the waist. The neck and sometimes the head would also be covered.
During the high medieval period, a long cloak could be used with the clothing along with closed shoes.
During the late medieval times, the use of silver and various precious stones became increasingly common for the medieval clothing of royalty.
